The historical accounts of the royal leaders often contain far more details than what is presented in the primary narrative. The record of King Ahaz covers the major events of his rule, but it does not capture every action he took. His remaining deeds and activities, which go beyond the events already outlined, were formally documented elsewhere. These additional historical records were preserved in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah.
