A leader's legacy is not always defined by a long list of actions, as even a brief period of power can clearly show a person's true character. Although the king ruled for only a short time and did not have the opportunity to carry out many deeds, his reign is remembered as a failure, marked by a severe negative judgment before God.

This harsh assessment does not come from a large number of actual sins committed during his brief time in power. Rather, it stems from his overall attitude. He showed a deep indifference to the commandments of God. By simply ignoring his spiritual duties, he chose to walk in the same improper path set by his father, proving that his general approach to leadership was fundamentally flawed.
