Alongside Micah's family, the genealogy tracks the household of his brother, Isshiah. Over time, the ancestral house originally named after Isshiah underwent a shift in its formal identity. Rather than keeping its founding name, the family group was eventually renamed after his later descendant, Zechariah [מצודת דוד].
