Others suggest that this heavenly testimony is actually delivered by angels who dwell on high, carrying out God's commands and declaring His justice [אבן עזרא, מצודת דוד]. On a broader conceptual level, the very operation of the stars and planets proves that the universe is not driven by blind laws of nature or astrological forces. Rather, it is guided by exact, purposeful providence rooted in justice and fairness [מלבי״ם], making God's truth visible across all layers of reality [ביאור שטיינזלץ].

This divine justice is primarily understood as God's strict fairness, which is vividly demonstrated through the complete punishment and destruction of the wicked [רד״ק, מאירי]. Yet, this exact justice also carries a profound sense of kindness. When God executes judgment against hostile nations, it simultaneously serves as an act of mercy and salvation for the Israelites [מאירי, מצודת דוד]. Another remarkable expression of this justice is found in the miraculous protection of the Israelites. For instance, when destructive fire descended from the sky, God commanded the heavens to release a cooling dew to shield His people, perfectly illustrating His tailored justice [אלשיך].

Ultimately, this grand display culminates in a worldwide revelation. God's universal leadership proves to every society that He is the sole, undisputed ruler over all natural forces. This singular authority shatters the ancient idolatrous belief that different regions or nations are governed by separate stars or independent deities [מלבי״ם]. To ensure that the people of the world could actually behold this overwhelming, fiery heavenly revelation without being consumed, God specially granted them the physical endurance to survive the sight. He did this deliberately so that His glory would be known and celebrated across the entire globe [אלשיך].
