The arrival of new residents to the Kingdom of Judah brought a period of governmental and spiritual stability. These newcomers provided crucial support to the leadership, actively assisting the kingdom and standing firmly by its side [מצודת דוד]. At the same time, their presence filled King Rehoboam with courage and strength [מצודת ציון].

This success was built on a strong religious foundation. The people who joined the kingdom made a conscious choice to follow the example of King David, dedicating themselves entirely to the service of God [מצודת דוד].
