The funds collected for the Temple were strictly set aside for the physical care of the structure itself. The money was handed directly to the workers tasked with repairing the building, ensuring that the focus remained entirely on restoring the physical House of God. Initially, these resources were not meant for any other purpose outside of these essential renovations.

However, there was a practical exception for leftover resources. If the construction work came to an end and there was still money remaining, those surplus funds were put to another sacred use. Any extra money left after the building was fully repaired could then be redirected to craft the vessels needed for the services inside the Temple.
