The military campaign against the Aramean army ends in a quick and decisive Israelite victory. Facing a massive military force, the Israelite army steps onto the battlefield under the leadership of Joab. His success in this confrontation stems directly from his exceptional skills as a military commander.

Despite the overwhelming size of the opposing army, the enemy forces suffer from a lack of organization. Joab completely overcomes the Arameans, successfully defeating them and driving the disorganized soldiers to flee from the battlefield.
