The repeated number twelve across all the types of animals directly corresponds to the twelve tribes in the spiritual realm. Furthermore, this entire dedication process acts as a direct continuation of the events at Mount Sinai. Just as God's glory descended at Sinai where twelve pillars were built, His glory now rests upon the Tabernacle, honored by twelve of every type of sacrifice [רבנו בחיי].

The inclusion of a grain offering alongside the animals carries important legal significance. While these animals were naturally accompanied by grain, much like standard burnt offerings [ביאור שטיינזלץ], this specific addition proves that the leaders' gifts were officially classified as public sacrifices. At that time, private voluntary donations did not yet require grain offerings or liquid libations. Therefore, the presence of the grain establishes their public status [העמק דבר]. Additionally, the male goats brought for the sin offering carry a deeper symbolic weight. The goat represents Esau, and it is offered specifically for a sin to hint at his identity as a sinner [שפתי כהן].
