Within this outstretched hand rests a rolled document containing God's message [מלבי״ם, מצודת דוד, ביאור שטיינזלץ]. This object is defined by both its physical shape and its internal meaning. It appears as a traditional scroll, a physical sheet of parchment that is kept tightly rolled. At the same time, it functions as a complete book, signifying that it is already filled with written text and detailed accounts, ready to be unfurled and revealed to the prophet [מצודת ציון, מלבי״ם].
