Jehoiada and the officers took active steps to consolidate their forces. To achieve this, they traveled extensively throughout the land. Their primary goal during this journey was to rally support and concentrate their strength from across the region.

As they moved through the cities of Judah, they specifically assembled the Levites and the heads of the Israelite families. Through these coordinated efforts, all of these key figures were successfully brought together, ultimately converging in Jerusalem.
