מלכים א, פרק י״ג, פסוק י״ד

Setting out in pursuit, the prophet follows the trail of the man of God from Judah. He eventually catches up to the traveler, finding him sitting and taking a rest from his journey [ביאור שטיינזלץ]. The man has chosen a spot under a specific type of tree [מצודת ציון], seeking comfort and shelter in its shade [רלב״ג].

Approaching the resting traveler, the prophet asks if he is indeed the man of God. The traveler gives a clear and direct confirmation of his identity, acknowledging that he is the very man being sought [ביאור שטיינזלץ].
