The miraculous victory left a strong impression that extended far beyond the battlefield. News of the event echoed throughout the entire region, casting a deep fear over the neighboring nations. As reports from the front lines reached these foreign kingdoms, a great terror took hold of them.

A true fear of God fell upon these nations because of a clear realization. They understood that God had fought against the enemies of Israel entirely on His own. The Israelites did not have to take any action or participate in the actual combat. The reality of God using His own power to absolutely defeat the enemy, without any human help, is what terrified the surrounding world.
