The captain of the guard systematically looted the sacred vessels used for the altar. Among the seized items were the specific tools used to scoop and gather fire, along with the large bowls from which the blood of the sacrifices was thrown against the wall of the altar.

This plunder was carried out with absolute thoroughness. Every single vessel was taken without exception. Whether an item was crafted from gold or made of silver, the captain of the guard seized all of the tools and carried them away.
