The decision to step into the intense debate with Job stems from the realization that insight is not bound by the number of years a person has lived, but is instead rooted in the human spirit. Because wisdom flows from a spiritual origin, the speaker confidently asks Job to listen to his words [מצודת דוד].

Despite being young and lacking the practical experience usually gained over time or through physical observation, he insists on sharing his perspective. He recognizes that his spirit may already be prepared and fully capable of reaching a profound level of understanding [מצודת דוד]. The arguments he is about to present do not rely on outward observations of the physical world. Rather, they are built on deep, internal truths that are naturally embedded within the soul. He is able to grasp these inner realities because the spirit of God rests upon him, granting him true clarity and instruction [מלבי״ם].
