When struck by destructive iron weapons, the creature simply repels them, treating the heavy metal as if it were nothing more than soft, weak straw. Even other formidable materials fare no better, crumbling against the beast like rotten, decayed wood. While the primary approach among commentators is that these additional weapons are made of copper, an alternative view suggests they are forged from hardened iron, or steel [רלב״ג]. Regardless of the exact material, the outcome is identical: all weapons shatter and fall away, failing to leave even the slightest mark on the creature.
