This shared leadership was not a coincidence. This specific priestly division was actually known by both titles simultaneously, functioning as a single unit under a combined name [מצודת דוד]. These two family titles are simply alternate versions of the names Mijamin and Maadiah, which were already recorded earlier in the registry [רלב״ג].
