This ideal reality stands in stark contrast to the destruction of the past, serving as the complete opposite of a time when the land was reduced to a desolate wasteland [אבן עזרא].

The promise of full streets signifies that the residents of the city will be fruitful and multiply, naturally filling the once empty spaces with new life [מצודת דוד]. As the boys and girls play together, their actions are an expression of pure laughter and joy [מצודת ציון].
