Setting up the interior of the Tabernacle required a precise spatial order. The arrangement of the holy objects followed earlier instructions perfectly, creating a balanced layout. The primary approach among commentators is that the objects were placed to parallel one another, establishing a clear physical relationship between the different pieces.

Specifically, the Menorah and the table were positioned to face each other directly. The table was placed on the northern side of the room, while the Menorah was set on the southern side. Positioned on opposite ends of the tent, these two sacred objects stood in direct alignment, facing one another across the open space.
