The connection between people and God is based on a direct link between the depth of their search and His Divine revelation. Searching for God is not a regular request or a standard prayer. Instead, it is a higher spiritual level of yearning for His presence and constant care, much like a person looking for a lost object [מלבי״ם].

The desired result of this deep search is the return of God's direct guidance to the people [מלבי״ם]. However, this promise is not fulfilled automatically. It depends on an absolute condition. Finding God is only possible when the search is driven by complete sincerity and full, undivided intention [מצודת דוד].
