נחמיה, פרק ט׳, פסוק כ״ג

The fulfillment of the divine promise to the forefathers finally took shape through a new generation. The children of the desert generation, whose parents were decreed to die before reaching the promised land, became the bearers of this legacy. God multiplied these descendants and guided them into the very land He had sworn to their ancestors. This inheritance was expansive, encompassing even the territories east of the Jordan River [רלב״ג].

God directed their journey with a specific goal in mind. He brought the people to the land with the clear, deliberate purpose that they would actively enter and take full possession of it [מצודת דוד].
