Every detail he had envisioned, planned, and intended to create was carried out with great success. However, this absolute triumph is framed with a specific focus. The complete success achieved at this moment relates directly to his work on the Temple of God and the royal palace.

While the parallel historical account in the Book of Kings describes his building achievements in a broad and general manner, the narrative here specifically limits this perfect success to these two distinct structures [מלבי״ם]. The reason for this careful distinction is that Solomon went on to construct many other buildings in the years that followed. Therefore, it is made clear that the unique and complete success achieved at this point was dedicated entirely to the Temple and the palace, as these stood as the most important and central projects in his eyes.
