Moses held an exceptionally high position, recognized as the man of God. Yet, despite his immense personal greatness, his descendants did not inherit any special rank or privilege. Instead of receiving an elevated status, his children were counted simply as regular members of the tribe of Levi. They were considered ordinary Levites, holding no unique distinction above the rest of their tribe.
