The genealogical records of the Hebron family identify four central figures: Jeriah, Amariah, Jahaziel, and Jekameam. Although these men are grouped together within the same family lineage, a distinct generational gap exists among them.

Rather than being a list of four brothers who are all direct children of Hebron, the record actually spans two separate generations. The first figure, Jeriah, is the only direct son. The remaining three men—Amariah, Jahaziel, and Jekameam—are actually the sons of Jeriah himself [מלבי״ם].
