The genealogical records of Jediael trace the continuation of his family line specifically through his son Bilhan. From Bilhan, the family expands further into a new generation consisting of seven sons: Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Chenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish, and Ahishahar [ביאור שטיינזלץ]. Within the ancient tradition of preserving and reading these family records, the name of the first son is written in the text in one form but is traditionally pronounced as Jeush [מנחת שי].
