The descendants of Jediael held prominent positions of authority, acting as both family patriarchs and military commanders. His sons served as the primary leaders of their households, taking on the responsibility of guiding the families of brave warriors [מצודת דוד].

Under their direct command stood a significant military force. This army was made up of seventeen thousand two hundred fighters. These men were not simply ordinary citizens, but capable military personnel who were fully fit and ready for battle.
