Five Amorite kings unite their forces, launching a joint military campaign with all of their armies. The rulers of Jerusalem, Hebron, Jarmuth, Lachish, and Eglon gather together and march directly toward their target.

Upon arriving at Gibeon, the combined armies do not merely set up a temporary camp. Instead, they surround the area and lay a formal siege, fully preparing to wage war against the city.
