Yet, when these heavy feelings set in, they can be completely transformed into profound joy and delight [מצודת ציון].

On a personal level, when an individual sinks into doubt and distress, the only true relief is the quiet knowledge that God is listening and will ultimately provide help. In this dynamic, God's comfort serves as an active, healing force, while the human soul simply receives His reassurance [אבן עזרא, שטיינזלץ].
