The territory allocated to the Tribe of Asher stretches far into the north. Following its designated path, the boundary passes along the left side of the settlement of Cabul and extends outward until it reaches Ebron [מצודת דוד].
From there, the border continues even further north, reaching all the way to Greater Sidon within the Sidonian kingdom. However, this expansive northern boundary does not reflect the actual historical reality on the ground, as the members of the Tribe of Asher never practically settled this area. Instead of serving as a literal map of the land they physically controlled, this grand layout presents the ideal, intended inheritance designed for the tribe [ביאור שטיינזלץ].
