Psalms 102:29Sefaria

בְּנֵֽי־עֲבָדֶ֥יךָ יִשְׁכּ֑וֹנוּ וְ֝זַרְעָ֗ם לְפָנֶ֥יךָ יִכּֽוֹן׃ {פ}

Even as the physical world undergoes constant change and all living things are eventually replaced, the eternity of the righteous and their families is guaranteed [ביאור שטיינזלץ]. The children of God's servants are identified specifically as the descendants of the Patriarchs—Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob Alternatively, this group is viewed more broadly as anyone who fears God and merits His ongoing kindness from one generation to the next [אבן עזרא].

The heart of this promise is an assurance of lasting security. Practically, this means the righteous will live safely in their land forever. Once they return during the era of redemption, they will never face exile again Beyond physical safety, there is a deeper spiritual transformation expected in the future. When heaven and earth are refined into a purely spiritual state, these descendants will also possess pure bodies, completely free from flaws or evil desires. This absolute purity will allow them to exist safely in close proximity to God, without being consumed by the intense fire of His presence [אלשיך].

This guarantee extends far into the future, ensuring that the descendants of the righteous will be firmly established before God. They will endure forever, lasting as long as the heavens over the earth, and will never perish The concept of being established implies a deep sense of preparation and grounding [מצודת ציון]. Furthermore, standing before God signifies a lasting commitment by these descendants to serve Him for all time [רד״ק]. Ultimately, this lasting promise stands as clear evidence that the prayer of the psalmist was heard, serving as proof of God's endless kindness toward future generations
