יחזקאל, פרק ל״ט, פסוק ה׳

The defeat of the invading army is absolute, inescapable, and destined to unfold openly across every front. The collapse will take place directly on the battlefield itself [מצודת דוד]. This widespread destruction is not restricted to the flat plains. Instead, it reaches the entirety of the opposing forces, whether they are positioned high on the mountains or spread out across the open ground. Every soldier will be struck down by the sword and other severe punishments [רד״ק].

There is absolute certainty in this downfall. Because God Himself has issued the decree, the total ruin of the enemy forces is guaranteed to happen exactly as He planned [מצודת דוד].
