יחזקאל, פרק כ״ז, פסוק ב׳

God instructs the prophet to lift his voice loudly in a cry of mourning over the future downfall of the city of Tyre [מצודת דוד]. This command goes beyond a simple prediction of physical destruction, carrying a profound spiritual weight instead.

Beneath the surface of this sadness, the command to speak these words serves a hidden inner purpose. A fundamental spiritual principle dictates that simply mentioning the disgrace and collapse of evil forces actively works to defeat them. Therefore, when God directs the prophet to describe the failure of Tyre, His true goal is to practically subdue the severe spiritual impurity of the city. By vocalizing its downfall, the prophet actively breaks the power of the city's impure force [חומת אנך].
