In the midst of a severe crisis, a delegation of the leaders of Judah arrives to seek the guidance of the prophet. However, the meeting unfolds in a completely unexpected manner. While the arrival of the leaders is noted, there is no record of their actual request or any words they might have spoken.
Based on this missing dialogue, [שד״ל] explains that Isaiah did not allow the delegation to speak or explain their terrible situation. Instead, he anticipated their plea. The very moment they arrived, before they could even begin to express their distress, the prophet immediately delivered the word of God to them.
