A tense pursuit reaches its climax as Micah and his men chase after the tribe of Dan. When the pursuers finally catch up, a direct confrontation unfolds. The encounter begins with a loud call, as Micah deliberately waits for his men to gather around him before speaking to the men of Dan [מצודת דוד].

Hearing the shouts behind them, the men of Dan turn around to face their pursuers. As they look back, they are met with the sight of Micah leading a group of men, crying out in protest.

Facing the angry crowd, the men of Dan respond with apparent confusion. They ask Micah to explain the meaning of all the shouting [ביאור שטיינזלץ]. They demand to know exactly what he is missing that would drive him to gather a group of men and chase after them [מצודת דוד].
