Truly listening to her requires deeply investigating and reflecting upon God's wisdom and His very existence [רלב״ג]. Ideally, this pursuit should begin in one's youth, long before the daily struggles of making a living and the unpredictable events of life take over [עמנואל הרומי].

The primary approach among commentators is that the reward for listening to Wisdom unfolds on two distinct levels: internal and external. On the inside, a person develops a deep, unshakable sense of security that naturally grows from their acquired wisdom. Finally, this message highlights the incredible power of repentance. Furthermore, it serves as a deeply personal guarantee. Even if a person lives in a corrupt society that is destined for punishment, the individual who listens to God will remain safe.
