Looking back at the struggles of the past, a profound realization emerges. It becomes clear that God is the one who actually fought the battles and delivered the individual from the hands of their enemies [רש״י, צאינה וראינה]. Instead of leaving the person to face their usual hardships alone, God took it upon Himself to manage these conflicts, stepping in to fight directly in their place [אבן עזרא].

This direct divine intervention results in complete salvation. It is an absolute rescue from the grip of the oppressor. A clear example of this kind of miraculous rescue, where an individual is safely redeemed while their enemies are completely destroyed, is found in the story of Daniel. He was spared from the lion's den, while the very people who plotted his downfall were devoured in his place [פלגי מים].
