Following a journey of deep repentance and forgiveness, a perfect spiritual era will eventually dawn, transforming the very nature of human worship. As the world fills with divine knowledge and the urge to sin vanishes, the entire purpose of bringing offerings to God will shift. With impurity gone from the world, there will no longer be any need for sacrifices meant to atone for wrongdoing, such as sin or guilt offerings [אלשיך, מצודת דוד, ביאור שטיינזלץ].

Instead, in this repaired reality, God will gladly accept sacrifices of true righteousness. Unlike the offerings of the First Temple period, which were sometimes tainted by deceit or driven by a desire for material success, these future gifts will be brought purely out of love, goodwill, and gratitude to God for teaching humanity the path of justice [מלבי״ם, המאירי, ביאור שטיינזלץ]. The primary approach among commentators is that these acts of worship refer to voluntary peace offerings.

This pure worship will include regular daily and additional burnt offerings [אבן עזרא]. A related form of complete devotion is also highlighted. While some view this as an emphasis on the burnt offering being entirely consumed by fire, the primary approach among commentators is that it specifically points to the priest's meal offering, which is similarly burned in its entirety on the altar [רד״ק, אבן עזרא, מצודת ציון].

The vision of bulls being offered powerfully reinforces this message of future devotion [מצודת דוד]. Highlighting bulls does not exclude sheep or other animals; rather, it focuses on the largest and most significant form of sacrifice [רד״ק]. Offering animals also serves as a reminder that God completely rejects human sacrifice [מלבי״ם]. Furthermore, in the past, bulls brought for severe sins were burned outside the camp, but in this repaired future, they will be offered completely upon the altar itself [אלשיך]. This future worship is characterized by continuous growth and abundance. Unlike earlier times when offerings dwindled, in a secure and fearless Jerusalem, the gifts brought to honor God will only multiply and flourish [אלשיך].
