From the descendants of Phinehas, the grandson of Aaron the Priest through Eleazar, the leader who made the journey was named Gershom. Representing the line of Ithamar, another son of Aaron, was a man named Daniel. Finally, from the descendants of David, the leader who joined the return was Hattush.
