A profound promise of future redemption carries a message of national unity and the complete restoration of traditional leadership. God guarantees to take His earlier prophecies and bring them into absolute reality [מצודת ציון]. These prior messages [מלבי״ם] center on the ultimate return of the exiled people of Israel and Judah to their homeland [אברבנאל].

The fulfillment of this vision will be marked by the rise of the Messianic King from the family line of David. This leader will be defined by deep inner honesty and a commitment to establishing true justice and righteousness throughout the land. As a result, the city of Jerusalem will eventually be known by a name that reflects the divine justice dwelling within its walls, a justice coming directly from God [אברבנאל].

This promise is specifically directed toward both the House of Israel and the House of Judah, aiming to heal a deep historical wound. Long ago, when the kingdom was divided by Jeroboam, two vital chains of leadership were broken. The royal family of David lost its rule over the ten tribes, and the sacred priesthood was handed over to individuals outside the tribe of Levi. The message of this redemption is the complete return of these two leadership roles to their original status. The Messianic King will once again rule over all twelve tribes united together, maintaining a continuous royal line that will never be transferred to another family. At the same time, the continuity of the sacred service will be permanently guaranteed, remaining exclusively with the Levite priests descended from Aaron [אברבנאל].
