The final moments of the queen's life unfold as she is led away from the sacred grounds before her execution. To preserve the holiness of the House of God, she is escorted out of the area and directed toward the royal palace.

Rather than physically seizing her, the gathered crowd simply clears a wide path, stepping aside to ensure she can quickly leave the holy courtyard. Once outside the immediate area, she proceeds along a specific route used to bring horses into the palace, a path that serves as a direct bridge between the House of God and the king's estate.

Most commentators view her movement down this path as a natural result of the crowd directing her steps. However, another perspective suggests that she independently chose to walk specifically through the horses' entrance, and the people merely allowed her to take that route [אברבנאל]. Regardless of who determined the exact direction, her journey ends the moment she reaches the grounds of the king's palace. It is there, entirely removed from the holy site, that she is finally put to death.
