Daniel 10:6Sefaria

A magnificent, glowing spiritual being reveals itself to human eyes, its appearance striking and full of deep meaning. The angel's body is likened to a precious stone with a brilliant light blue color. This vivid hue serves to remind the viewer of the fine, precious heavens above It also represents the spiritual garment the angel must put on in order to become visible to human beings [מלבי״ם]. Taking a different approach, this description may refer not to a jewel, but to a vast African sea, highlighting the sheer, ocean-like enormousness of the angel's form [רש״י].

The face of the angel shines intensely with the sudden brightness of lightning, while its eyes burn like fiery torches. On a visual level, these features appear as bright, illuminating flames [מצודת ציון]. Symbolically, they carry profound messages about spiritual oversight and understanding. The sharp, thin light of the lightning symbolizes oversight over the angelic realm, while the heavier, more physical glow of the torches represents oversight over the physical celestial spheres Furthermore, the flashing lightning perfectly captures the way the human mind perceives spiritual entities. Human understanding cannot hold onto them; rather, the realization comes as a quick flash of brilliance that sparkles for a brief moment and immediately fades away [מלבי״ם].

The angel's arms and feet gleam with the yellowish color of polished, fire-roasted brass. These limbs represent the actual movements and actions the angel takes in the world [מלבי״ם]. Because the hands and feet are the lowest extremities of the body, they point to the lowest physical realm, which is the very edge of creation. Although the polished brass appears beautiful and bright, it ultimately symbolizes a temporary and perishable physical reality that lacks eternal existence

When the angel speaks, the sound is overwhelming. The voice echoes with the power of a massive crowd, carrying loudly over great distances like the roar of a multitude This booming sound signifies that the angel's words and influence in this world are not meant for an isolated few, but are directed outward to reach the vast masses of humanity
