Constructing the tent of the Tabernacle required joining large curtains together with absolute precision. To achieve this, five individual curtains were first sewn into a single, unified group. Along the outermost edge of this large group, loops made of blue thread were carefully placed. The exact same process was repeated for a second group of five merged curtains, preparing both sets to be linked as one [ביאור שטיינזלץ].
The attachment of these blue loops was a highly integrated process. Rather than simply resting on top of the fabric, the loops were crafted directly into the edge of the curtain itself, becoming an inseparable part of the material [העמק דבר].
