Isaiah 45:12Sefaria

The Creator holds absolute sovereignty over the universe, serving as the sole architect of heaven and earth. This ultimate authority provides a firm answer to anyone who might question His actions, His capabilities, or His readiness to guide the world and save His people. Because the entire universe belongs to Him, God is free to act within His creation exactly as He desires, with no one able to protest Furthermore, He holds the absolute right to entrust the earth to whoever is upright in His eyes [רש״י]. Ultimately, recognizing this reality removes any doubt regarding God's salvation, as it clearly proves both His profound desire to do good and His immense power to achieve it [מלבי״ם].

There is a distinct process in how the world was formed, reflecting a transition from bringing matter into existence out of nothing to perfecting and completing it. God first shaped the earth, fully preparing it with all its necessary components, including inanimate objects, plant life, and animals. Only after the world was completely ready did He bring humanity into existence. This deliberate sequence shows God's desire to benefit mankind, ensuring that every need was prepared in advance before people even entered the world [מלבי״ם]. Humanity receives special focus in this process because mankind is the crown of earthly creation. The entire world was designed for human benefit, and humanity is placed in charge of the earth [רד״ק].

To further show His unlimited power, God emphasizes His direct role in expanding the heavens and establishing Himself as the exclusive ruler over the heavenly forces [מלבי״ם]. He willed the vast armies of the sky into existence, and they draw their power to influence the earth directly from His hand The divine command that brought these heavenly bodies to life was not a physical spoken word, but rather a representation of the Supreme Will. The entire act of creation and the vast expansion of the sky were the direct result of His will alone
