Ezra 2:65Sefaria

The historic journey back to Zion from the Babylonian exile included far more than just the core members of the nation. The true scale and character of the expedition are reflected in the broad entourage of servants and companions who traveled alongside the main group. A massive crowd of 7,337 male and female servants accompanied the returnees [ביאור שטיינזלץ]. This specific group was counted entirely on its own because these individuals were not part of the primary census of the congregation of Israel that had already been recorded

Beyond the working servants, an additional group of two hundred male and female singers joined the expedition. There are different perspectives regarding the exact role these musicians played. One approach suggests they were there to provide music for the road. Because the return to the Land of Israel was an occasion of immense happiness, these singers were brought along to make the long travel time more pleasant and to uplift the spirits of the travelers It is highly likely that these musicians were simply part of the households belonging to the wealthier families making the trip [ביאור שטיינזלץ]. However, an alternative view assigns a deeply religious purpose to their presence. From this perspective, the singers were not there merely to provide travel entertainment. Instead, their specific mission was to sing and offer praise directly to God [אבן עזרא].
