Job 22:25Sefaria

A person who returns to the right path is granted a profound, dual promise of security and abundance, encompassing both the material and spiritual realms. The first element of this promise ensures steadfast protection during times of hardship. God will actively fight against one's enemies and destroy them [רמב״ן, ביאור שטיינזלץ], or stand as an unwavering pillar of support when trouble arises [רמב״ן, אבן עזרא]. To prevent any misconception that God might be associated with the adversaries themselves, it is clarified that He will act as a righteous judge, executing strict justice upon those who mean harm [רש״י]. Alternatively, rather than focusing on active warfare, the promise is one of impenetrable defense, where God Himself serves as a personal fortress and a safe refuge from all danger

Beyond divine protection, the promise extends to vast prosperity. A person's personal wealth and treasures will become incredibly abundant and powerful On a spiritual level, these treasures are not merely earthly hoards vulnerable to theft or decay; they are kept safe and guarded high in heaven, completely out of the reach of human control [אלשיך].

The exact nature of this newfound abundance is understood in several distinct ways. The primary approach among commentators is that this prosperity represents immense strength and elevation, much like towering mountain peaks or the powerful horns of a wild beast. Such vast wealth and honor will elevate the person, keeping them secure and far above the reach of their enemies Another perspective envisions this wealth as a dynamic force characterized by rapid movement. It is an abundance that constantly multiplies, moving swiftly to reach the person without delay This swift prosperity also carries a deep spiritual dimension. Rather than material riches buried in the dirt, it represents an elevated, spiritual abundance that soars upward [מלבי״ם]. Finally, an alternative view suggests a more grounded reality for this rapidly arriving wealth. It is not meant for lavish luxury, but rather provides exactly what is needed, arriving precisely on time to sustain a person's basic physical and spiritual needs, such as daily sustenance and clothing [אלשיך].
