I Kings 5:14Sefaria

וַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙ מִכׇּל־הָ֣עַמִּ֔ים לִשְׁמֹ֕עַ אֵ֖ת חׇכְמַ֣ת שְׁלֹמֹ֑ה מֵאֵת֙ כׇּל־מַלְכֵ֣י הָאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֥ר שָׁמְע֖וּ אֶת־חׇכְמָתֽוֹ׃ {ס}

News of Solomon's unique wisdom crossed borders, transforming Jerusalem into a center of pilgrimage for the ancient world. Royal figures and their representatives arrived from every corner of the earth, eager to absorb his profound teachings. There are different perspectives on exactly how this knowledge was passed down to the rest of the world. The primary approach among commentators is that foreign kings personally traveled to learn from Solomon. Upon returning to their own lands, these rulers would gather their citizens and repeat the wisdom they had acquired in Jerusalem [רד״ק, מצודת דוד, מלבי״ם]. Another view suggests that the monarchs did not make the journey themselves, but rather sent delegations of wise men from their own nations to listen to Solomon firsthand [מלבי ם בשם אברבנאל].

The actual content of the wisdom shared during these gatherings is closely tied to the Book of Ecclesiastes, which was originally delivered to a massive audience. Solomon taught by deeply investigating and questioning the nature of the world, delivering a message that resonated with every layer of society. He directly challenged the visiting royalty, teaching them to recognize the emptiness of material success in this world. At the same time, he provided practical lessons and moral guidance tailored to the everyday lives of the common people [מלבי״ם].
