In the future vision of the divided land, specific, parallel strips of territory are set aside for those who serve in holy roles, keeping these dedicated groups close to one another. The designated land for the Levites is placed directly alongside the territory of the priests, running parallel to it and matching it exactly in size [רש״י, מצודת ציון, ביאור שטיינזלץ]. Just like the area given to the priests, the Levites' tract of land stretches twenty-five thousand in length and ten thousand in width [מצודת דוד, מלבי״ם].

Although the dimensions of both territories are identical, there is a fundamental difference in how the land is ultimately utilized. The future Temple is destined to be built within the territory of the priests. This holy structure will subtract a dedicated area of five hundred reeds from their available living space. In contrast, the inheritance of the Levites remains completely continuous and whole. The repetition of the full measurements emphasizes that the Levites will receive their entire allocated area without any reduction. They will be able to settle and use the complete length and width of their territory without any interruptions or deductions from their land [מצודת דוד, מלבי״ם, ביאור שטיינזלץ].
