Recognizing the need for a larger living space, the students of the prophet approach him with a proposal to relocate and build a new, spacious center. They suggest moving their community to the area of the Jordan River, a choice driven by both practical and spiritual motives. On a practical level, the region offers plenty of open, unoccupied land, as well as a nearby forest filled with large trees ready to be cut down for building materials [מצודת דוד, ביאור שטיינזלץ]. Beyond the physical benefits, the location holds deep spiritual significance. The Jordan is the exact site from which the prophet Elijah ascended to heaven, and the students hope that by settling there, they will experience an overflow of spiritual energy and heightened holiness [אברבנאל].

To execute the project, the students suggest that each of them will take responsibility for gathering an especially thick wooden beam [מצודת ציון]. Their ultimate goal is to construct a facility spacious enough to comfortably accommodate both the prophet and his large, growing number of students [ביאור שטיינזלץ]. The exact method of construction could take a few forms. They plan to build either a house or a large tent where these massive wooden beams will function as the primary supporting pillars. Alternatively, they might construct the main walls out of stone and use the heavy wooden beams to form the roof [רלב״ג]. Hearing their thoughtful proposal, the prophet accepts their request and grants them permission to proceed with the building project [ביאור שטיינזלץ].
