The king is overcome with relief and joy upon hearing Daniel's reply and realizing he is safe. He immediately issues an order to pull Daniel up from the pit, and the command is swiftly carried out.

There is not a single scratch, wound, or sign of injury on his body. The reason for this miraculous survival is directly attributed to his unwavering trust in God. Both [מלבי״ם] and [מצודת דוד] emphasize that it was the pure strength of Daniel's faith that protected him. This deep belief was demonstrated by his refusal to abandon his prayers even when faced with a terrible threat.
