God's greatness is revealed through His absolute mastery over all realms of existence. From the highest spiritual dimensions to the physical earth, He displays eternal power and unshakeable faithfulness. As the ruler of the heavenly armies and the fixed laws of nature, God bridges two vast extremes [ביאור שטיינזלץ, מלבי״ם]. His glory is deeply evident in how He guides the purely spiritual angels above while simultaneously watching over human beings in the physical world below [אלשיך].

God is recognized not only as the original source of all existence but also as the immense, stable force that continues to sustain and preserve the world long after its creation [רד״ק, מלבי ם באור המילות]. The primary approach among commentators is that this strength represents an active, eternal power [אבן עזרא, רד״ק, מנחת שי, מאירי]. However, a different perspective views this might not as an active physical force, but as profound restraint and patience. In this view, God's true power is demonstrated when He observes the wicked and hears their insults, yet chooses to remain completely silent [תורה תמימה].

This enduring stability and faithfulness are not temporary actions, but an inseparable part of God's very essence [אבן עזרא, מצודת דוד]. The presence of holy angels surrounding Him serves as a constant testament to His eternal nature and the ongoing life of His creation [רד״ק, מאירי]. Furthermore, His faithful guidance reaches far beyond the heavenly realms. It fills all areas of existence, visible in the reliable, fixed systems of the natural world [מלבי״ם], and extending all the way down to the physical earth, where His kingship and careful watchfulness are clearly recognized [אלשיך, ביאור שטיינזלץ].
