When God makes a decision or sets a specific purpose, His will is absolute. There is no force in the world capable of standing in His way or altering His course. The primary approach among commentators is that this absolute certainty guarantees the fulfillment of God's word. Once a divine decree is made, a rhetorical question naturally arises: who could possibly cancel or prevent such a decision [מצודת ציון, אבן עזרא]? Because this plan stems directly from God, it remains entirely unbreakable. Consequently, every promise and warning He delivered through His prophets will come to pass exactly as stated [רד״ק].
Beyond the decree itself is the reality of God's power in action. When He prepares to strike, His power is fully active and visible. Once God acts, no one can stand before Him or push Him back [מצודת דוד, מלבי״ם]. There will never be a moment where God lacks the means to achieve His goals. His strength will always overpower all nations, and it remains entirely impossible for anyone to stop Him [מלבי״ם].
